FOR VESSEL OWNERS /
OPERATORS Underwater inspections are performed for all class societies. Our documentation capabilities include still photography as well as color video with topside monitor for real time diver-directed inspections. Mobile hull cleaning equipment allows for propeller polishing and hull cleaning for vessels of all tonnage on the East Coast and in the Gulf. Repairs include isolation of sea chests to facilitate waterborne valve removal and underwater welding and cutting services. Eason Diving has a large inventory of aluminum cofferdams built to U.S.Navy standards. In addition, we can design and fabricate a cofferdam to meet any specific need. All services can be provided pierside or at anchorage utilizing our workboats and launch service. |

FOR
ENGINEERS
As a subconsultant we have inspected hundreds of inland and coastal bridges, piers and facilities throughout the Southeast. Eason Diving's qualified underwater bridge inspectors provide these services for state and federal agencies in accordance with the Bridge Inspectors Training Manual 90. We work as a subconsultant to engineering firms performing scheduled maintenance inspections and as a consultant providing information for emergency scour and structural analysis. Working under Federal emergency contract to the Georgia Department of Transportation, Eason Diving inspected 103 bridges in the 10 days following the Georgia flood of 1994. Our capabilities also include nondestructive testing, concrete core sampling and timber pile analysis which provide additional information for the client's evaluation. |

FOR
POWER COMPANIES & INDUSTRY
Routine maintenance, inspections and repairs for power companies and industry are a significant portion of our work. Eason Diving has the expertise to perform FERC inspections, trash rack removal and replacement and intake and outfall penetrations. We also remove silt, mussels and debris utilizing fire main eduction, air eduction, vacuum transfer and submerged pumping systems. Electronic location, inspection and repair of submerged pipelines and cables of all types, including plan and profile drawings, are services routinely provided to our utility clients. Nuclear diving services have included spent fuel rack removal/reinstallation, emergency repairs to fuel transfer systems and scheduled outage maintenance. Eason Diving maintains an inventory of nuclear specific equipment and all of our personnel are GET trained and meet the Fitness for Duty requirements. We work closely with the utility companies' RP personnel in developing procedures to achieve ALARA goals. |
